At Michael & Sun Solar we get a lot of questions about the Tesla roof that is going to be available in the future, a new technology where solar cells are built right into the roofing tiles. The result is more traditional looking roof, although the tiles have a futuristic translucence which we have only seen in photographs thus far. It’s a technology that holds great promise for the future, and we are looking forward to seeing the product when it eventually get’s implemented locally. Tesla roofing will be available exclusively through Solar City, but if successful, competing products will likely become available.
